Masacote is a world class leader in salsa instruction, choreagraphy, and performance. They are based out of Boston but travel the world. In August they will be offering a week long intensive retreat in OOB. This is the retreat's 3rd year in Maine.. but little did they know that our local scene has been growing!
Masacote teaches salsa ON2. Portland salseros are mostly ON1 dancers, but I will try to offer some workshops throughout the summer to introduce people to this style of dancing if anyone is interested in participating in this amazing retreat. I attended last years retreat and I HIGHLY recommend it for any level dancer! You are guaranteed to come out a better dancer!
